Make Your Own Silver Jewellery: One-to-One Day Workshop
Time: 10am - 4.30pm
Date: To Be Confirmed (Please advise of your preferred date on the checkout booking form, giving 14 days notice. Nisha will confirm date with you. Alternatively, contact Nisha first. Weekdays and weekends are available for this workshop, as well as a different start/finish time)
Location: Nisha Halo Jewellery Studio (6 Helm Grove, Ulverston, LA12 9SX, Parking Available Outside)
Price: £395 (includes tuition, tools and equipment)
Material Cost Additional: (such as Sterling Silver: sheet/wire, chains, findings and beads, gemstones, Copper sheet/wire) - available for purchase on the day at trade prices. There is the option to pre-pay for materials here:
£50 additional - typically enough for a silver pair of earrings, or silver small pendant and chain, or ring design
£100 additional - typically enough for a Silver bangle or bracelet, or larger pendant and heavier chain, or 2 ring designs
£150 - £200 additional - combination of above / heavier pieces
Please note, if you don’t use the additional material bought on this website, Nisha will re-credit to you via your original payment following the workshop.
Other: Beverages included (you are welcome to bring your own lunch but please let us know if you would like us to organise sandwiches for you)
Please Bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, or an apron, and glasses if needed for close up work
Learn to design and make your own Sterling Silver jewellery in Nisha Halo’s beautiful private home Jewellery Studio in Ulverston, using traditional Silversmith techniques.
You can create your own handmade pieces whether it’s rings, earrings, pendant, necklaces or bracelets. You will leave with at least one handmade jewellery piece, but most workshop attendees leave with more .
This workshop is focused on one-to-one learning and providing individual attention, whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate level at jewellery making and the workshop is tailored to you. You will be guided through the whole design and jewellery process using the provided tools and equipment.
*You can also use yellow/red/white gold and Argentium Silver (a Hypoallergenic Silver) for your pieces – please state when booking as this will need to be pre-ordered; Nisha will be in touch to arrange prior to the workshop. Please note the material cost for gold is required to be paid up-front prior to the workshop taking place.

Please note, when booking and paying a workshop through Nisha Halo you are agreeing to abide by our full Terms and Conditions. All workshops must be paid for in full prior to the workshop. Once payment is made for a workshop, you will be emailed prior to the workshop to confirm any further information.
Cancellation
If for any reason you are unable to attend the workshop, please contact Nisha Halo at nisha@nishahalo.co.uk as soon as possible. Please note, we need at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rebook the date of the workshop; with 48 hours notice if cancelling, we can refund the cost minus a 10% cancellation fee to cover our administrative charges. If you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop taking place, this will result in 50% of the workshop fee being retained by Nisha Halo Ltd. Please note the cost of materials especially ordered for you - including but not limited to - gold/white gold/red gold are non-refundable as we are unable to return, however you will be given the raw precious metals you paid for.
In the unlikely event that we cancel a jewellery workshop, we will contact you with as much notice as possible on the email/telephone number you have provided and either rebook or refund the full workshop fee and any pre-payment for raw materials, unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for wasted travel costs or circumstances beyond our control.
Inclusivity
Nisha Halo is an inclusive company, however for the purposes of making jewellery you will need good use of your hands and eyesight. Please bring with you glasses if you need them for close up work. If you have any additional needs, please let us know how we can help.
Health & Safety
The minimum age for workshop is 16 years old, please note those aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult at any workshop.
You will be provided full guidance on all use of tools and equipment and may be asked to wear provided Protective Equipment at times.
Please note, you must follow instructions from the workshop instructors on the safe use of the equipment at all times, to avoid injury to yourself or to a third party. Nisha Halo is not held liable for an accidents that occur due to a workshop attendee’s failure to listen to instructions, nor to refund the workshop fee as a result of this.
