Location: Nisha Halo Jewellery Studio (6 Helm Grove, Ulverston, LA12 9SX. Parking Available Outside)

Price: £150 per person (includes tuition, tools and equipment, 10 grams of Silver Clay per person, silver findings (Additional Silver Clay and chains are available for purchase.)

Other: Beverages, biscuits and cakes included

Please Bring: Clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, or an apron, and glasses if needed for close up work

Come and learn all about Silver Clay, design and and make your own fine silver pendants or earrings at a private workshop .

Fine Silver Clay is a pliable and extraordinary material like clay, but when torch fired turns into 999 Fine Silver.

Ulverston-based jeweller Nisha of Nisha Halo will guide you through the tools, techniques: sculpting, texturing, firing and finishing process to make your gorgeous silver jewellery.

All equipment is provided and 10 grams of Silver Clay for your pieces as well as findings .

Additional Silver Clay can be bought for £20 (7 grams) or £30 (10 grams) and includes the silver findings (jump-rings/ear-wires attachments)

On the day, please bring with you:

  • Clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty, or an apron

  • Glasses if you need them for close up work

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners with no previous jewellery making experience, or those with some. Parking is available outside.

Terms and Conditions.

Please note, when booking and paying a workshop through Nisha Halo you are agreeing to abide by our full Terms and Conditions. All workshops must be paid for in full prior to the workshop. Once payment is made for a workshop, you will be emailed prior to the workshop to confirm any further information.

Cancellation

If for any reason you are unable to attend a two person workshop, please contact Nisha Halo at nisha@nishahalo.co.uk as soon as possible. Please note, we need at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rebook the date of a two person workshop and we can refund the cost minus a 10% cancellation fee to cover administrative charges. If you cancel within 48 hours of the workshop taking place, this will result in 50% of the workshop fee being retained by Nisha Halo Ltd. Please note the cost of additional materials especially ordered for you - including but not limited to - gold/white gold/red gold are non-refundable as we are unable to return, however you will be given the raw precious metals you paid for.

In the unlikely event that we cancel a jewellery workshop, we will contact you with as much notice as possible on the email/telephone number you have provided and either rebook or refund the full workshop fee and any pre-payment for raw materials, unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for wasted travel costs or circumstances beyond our control.

Inclusivity

Nisha Halo tries to be inclusive as much as we can, however for the purposes of making jewellery you will need good use of your hands and eyesight. Please bring with you glasses if you need them for close up work. The minimum age for workshop is 16 years old, please note those aged 16-17 must be accompanied by a paying adult and it is advised to book the Workshop for Two Persons.

Health & Safety

You will be provided full guidance on all use of tools and equipment and asked to wear Protective Equipment at time. Please note, you must follow instructions from the workshop instructors on the safe use of the equipment at all times, to avoid injury to yourself or to a third party. Nisha Halo is not held liable for an accidents that occur due to a workshop attendee’s failure to listen to instructions, nor to refund the workshop fee as a result of this.
