Our handmade ‘Midnight Blue Abalone Shell and Gold Stars Earrings’ are made from iridescent teardrop blue abalone shells with dainty gold-filled stars - shining bright - with cubic zirconia gemstones, on 14 carat gold filled hooks.

A matching pendant is also available called ‘Midnight Blue Abalone Shell and Gold Stars Pendant Necklace’ for a stunning starry night look.

Blue Abalone Shell is said to have mystical properties on the wearer - and elevate hope and courage.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of 14 carat gold to a layer of base metal - usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight and is therefore a much thicker and more durable alternative to gold plating.
